C. Phoenix Tyler Rising Stars is an extraordinary performing and visual arts company. Our UP Program (Unique and Phenomenal) is an innovative, highly engaging, one-of-a-kind performing and visual arts program for diverse learners with intellectual and/or physical disabilities.The UP Program is dedicated to empowering individuals by providing a transformative platform for creative expression. Through the arts of filmmaking, acting, deejaying, and singing, we foster self-confidence, personal growth, and inclusion. Our mission is to celebrate the unique and phenomenal abilities of every individual, helping them unlock their full potential, connect with their communities, and inspire others through their talents. At UP, we believe in the power of creativity to break down barriers and create a world where all voices are heard and valued.

Film

Through our Film Program, students will learn the basics of filmmaking. They will collaborate to make a film and have the opportunity to participate in the annual UP Awards and UP Film Festival.

Acting

Through our Acting Program, students will gain hands-on experience with the basics of acting, including character development and voice projection. They will showcase their work and have the opportunity to participate in the UP Awards.

Deejaying

In our Deejaying Program, students will learn the basics of deejaying, including mixing and scratching. They will also have the opportunity to participate in the UP Awards.

Voice

In our Voice Program, students will learn vocal techniques to help them sing. They will have the opportunity to participate in the UP Awards.
